Introduction to Ghoo Vegetable Ghee Factory
In the south of Tehran, opposite the South Terminal, there is an intersection known as "Vegetable Ghee Intersection" due to the presence of the Ghoo Vegetable Ghee Factory. This factory, which operated for half a century, was relocated from Tehran as part of Clause 20 implementation and moved to the Pishva Varamin area. The Ghoo Vegetable Ghee Factory was established in 1954 (1333 in the Iranian calendar) by Hossein Ghasemieh. Along with Amir Hossein Amir Saleh in the 1960s and 1970s, they not only expanded this enterprise but also launched other industries, earning recognition as prominent entrepreneurs in the country.
Tehran's District 16 Municipality, aligning with urban renewal goals, facilitated the conversion of this land from industrial to residential use, in collaboration with the factory owners and through incentives. Soon, 1,056 units, including residential, commercial, cultural, and sports complexes, will be built at this site, significantly enhancing the deteriorated urban fabric of the area.
The 70th Anniversary Celebration of Ghoo Vegetable Ghee Brand
Yarandi Event proudly organized a special event on 8 October 2024 (1403/07/17 in the Iranian calendar) to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Ghoo Vegetable Ghee Company. This professionally planned and executed event aimed to honor the brand's illustrious history and unveil new sections of the factory in a captivating setting.
During the ceremony, the new production line of the factory was officially inaugurated, accompanied by diverse programs. A standout feature of the event was the exclusive "Memory Play" game designed by the Yarandi Event team. This game, centered on nostalgia and past memories, offered guests unparalleled excitement and entertainment, culminating with a prize draw and gift distribution.
This event became one of the year's most memorable ceremonies, celebrating the past while drawing attention to a bright and developed future for Ghoo Vegetable Ghee Company.
